CARE Communities | Heartside Hill

CARE Communities currently has approximately 8 units available at their Heartside Hill community, offering workforce housing at the 60% AMI level.

These units serve households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income (AMI) and are designed to support moderate-income households working across essential and early- to mid-career roles in our region.

In practice, this often aligns with households earning roughly in the mid-$50K to mid-$70K range, depending on household size and unit type. This represents an important—but often difficult to reach—segment of the workforce. Individuals at this level often:

· Earn too much to qualify for deeply subsidized housing

· Continue to experience cost burden in the current rental market

· May not be aware they qualify for income-restricted housing options

As part of CARE Communities' affordable housing commitments, a portion of the community is designated at this income level to ensure access for this segment of the workforce.
